Your Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. This notice explains our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on the bottom of every page and at every point where personal information may be requested.

We endeavour to abide by these general rules for the GDPR:

This privacy policy should be read in conjunction with our Data Protection Policy. It was last reviewed October 2018.

Our commitment to data security

To prevent unauthorised access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

All pages where we collect information from you are encrypted using HTTPS and any data stored is secured with password protection.

How you can correct your information or preferences

Marketing Preferences

You are free to change your mind at any time about how we can get in touch with you – just follow the link at the bottom of any of our emails to change your marketing preferences.

Factual Errors

You can correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information by sending us a request that the error be amended.

To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.

Online chat functionality

You can delete information that our data processor, Zopim, knows about you by clicking the blue ‘How may I help?’ button during office hours. Click ‘Hi ’ at the bottom, then the rubbish icon ‘Sign Out’. Close your browser window to complete the process.

Personal information we process

This notice applies to all information collected or submitted (“processed”) on the Corporate Coach Group website and also applies to persons booking training, and delegates completing paper-based forms during our training sessions.

On some web pages, you can email us, make information requests, register to receive materials, place booking requests, submit extra information, complete questionnaires or use web-apps.

The types of personal information we process include:

  • Your IP address and browser information
  • Analytical web session information
  • Name, Email Address, Phone Number, Business Name
  • Delegate information (Name, Email, Dietary Requirements, Date of Birth if requesting ILM certification)
  • Payment information
  • Results of questionnaires, and web-apps

The way we use personal information

We use the information you provide in as minimal manner as possible. We do not share this information with other data processors unless detailed below.

General website access on

Information gathered may be passed to our analytical partners (Google Analytics, Hotjar, Zopim, Facebook). In most cases, the information shared is usually anonymous.

Exceptions to this include when you follow a link in an email from us – data shared may include your name, email address and referrer information).

Online chat functionality

Our data processor partner, Zopim, collects information that you provide when you use the online chat functionality, or if you have followed a link in an email from us or completed a web-app, questionnaire, tool or message box. This information is not anonymous, but can be deleted at any time (see section ‘How you can correct your information or preferences’).

Use of web-apps, questionnaires, tools etc

Our interactive web-apps, questionnaires, tools and message boxes (“apps”, “app”) collect additional information which is required for their correct function. All these apps are optional and if you do not wish to give any information that is requested, please discontinue using the app in question.

Some apps allow you to email or print information or results – please note if you do this, you are responsible for keeping your personal information secure. This includes using an email provider that encrypts incoming email.

We do not share information provided via apps with any other data processors, except email providers should you use any email functionality.

Corporate Coach Group cannot see the results of your usage of the apps, but we do keep a log of who uses each app to aid us in our continuous website improvement process.


When accessing blogs via the website, you are also accessing the Facebook comment system. You may be providing analytical and personal information to them whilst you use our website. You can opt out of their tracking by following the instructions here.

If you comment on a blog, you are providing this information directly to Facebook and is not part of our data processing.

Booking training

When placing a booking, information you provide is used to complete the booking and training process. We do not share this information with other data processors except to the extent necessary to complete that booking. You must have the consent or authority to provide us with any personal or company information before completing the booking process.

Other data processors included in this process are: the training venue (varies from date to date – please contact us to find the details of your specific venue); Mailgun (for email address validation); Microsoft Azure (for data storage); Google Analytics and Adwords (for e-commerce data); Stripe (for payment card processing).

We do not keep records of any payment methods provided to us – these are stored and processed solely by Stripe.

You cannot opt out of any of these, since doing so would prevent us from completing the booking.

Feedback and other paper-based forms

We may collect personal information from you via feedback or other paper-based forms. Feedback forms are optional – if you do not wish to give us any information, please leave the form blank. Other paper-based forms are processed under the same strict guidelines as the rest of our website.

ILM certification

If you or a delegate wishes to sign up for an ILM certification, ILM becomes a data processor for that booking. They also require a Date of Birth of the delegate.


When you email us, we may include your records in our customer relationship management (CRM) database. This information is not processed by anyone except Corporate Coach Group, and is not used for marketing. To withdraw from this, please contact us.

Information requests and the right to be forgotten

You can request a copy of the personal data that we hold on you. To do this, please email with the subject ‘Information Request’. You will need to include:

  • Your Name
  • Any email addresses you may have used whilst on our website
  • Any phone numbers you may have provided us with
  • Your IP address

Please allow 14 days for us to gather the information.

You may also submit a ‘right to be forgotten’ request. Please follow the procedure above, but amend the email subject to be ‘Right to be forgotten request’. You will not receive a confirmation that this has been completed, since we would be removing your email address from our records.
