Business Coaching by Chris Farmer

How to Successfully Coach, Train, and Inspire Others

Business Coaching Book

If you were to discover that there was one verbal skill that would dramatically improve your ability to coach and counsel others more effectively, would you be willing to practice it until you were an expert?

That one vital skill is asking intelligent questions, which require a response in either thought or action. It is not good enough just to make a statement which is an assertion of what you think is true.

The book emphasises the point that, when coaching and counselling, you should ask more questions, and make fewer assertions. Questions can be used creatively to ask for agreement, gently challenge a belief, gain involvement, generate options and clarify thinking.

This is just one of a wide range of effective and creative ideas that the book covers. This book is available for £9.99 plus £2 post and packaging.

Customer Reviews

Here are a selection of reviews for our training courses.

  • The course content was fantastic with excellent structure. It was very applicable to real business and personal life. The trainer's presentation was very professional, very tidy, good pace and dialogue.

  • Really useful range of tools and techniques - a lot of useful stuff packed into two days. Both Chris and Marco delivered the content clearly and effectively. Technology was used to good effect to illustrate the points and make the presentations engaging. The remote training worked very smoothly, with the presenters delivering to camera with good energy, as if in the classroom. Use of tablets to illustrate points was effective.

  • I thought the course content was thought-provoking. A lot of the content seemed obvious and common sense once it was delivered, but I hadn't been doing it or was doing it 'wrong' at work and home. The trainer provided really good simple models that made it easier to remember. He had a really good, enthusiastic and credible style and was easy to listen to.
