Emotional intelligence is the ability to balance reason, emotions, and instincts to bring out the best in ourselves. It helps us stay calm under pressure, solve problems, and build strong relationships.

By developing emotional intelligence, we improve decision-making, reduce conflict, and boost both personal happiness and professional success.

This first, four-hour course teaches how our emotions start and how we can influence them.

Emotional Intelligence Training (Part 1) Course Overview

This first, four-hour course teaches how our emotions start and how we can influence them. We learn that the brain creates thoughts, feelings, and behaviour through rational thinking, emotional reactions, and instinctive responses.

The course shows how beliefs and thoughts create emotions and how to manage both. We learn how to handle difficult people, prevent negative emotional reactions, and stay in positive emotional states.

We build confidence, reduce stress, improve communication, and strengthen relationships at work and home. The course gives you the correct concepts, understanding, and practical tools to replace fear, anger, and frustration with clear thought, rational optimism, and purposeful action.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand the three components of the brain—Rational, Emotional and Instinctive—and how they affect decision-making.
  • Define emotional intelligence and appreciate its impact on personal well-being and professional success.
  • Identify how beliefs and thoughts generate emotional responses and influence behavior.
  • Utilize self-analysis tools to measure your current emotional competencies and set growth targets.
  • Apply techniques for managing stress and controlling emotional reactions in challenging situations.
