Online Productivity Training Course Overview
The one-day online course is delivered via either Zoom or Microsoft Teams. The sessions start at 9am, with breaks at 11am, 1pm and 3pm. We finish at 4.30pm.
Everyone wants to be more productive. Productivity is a measure of achievement, ie How much high-value progress is made. Busyness is a measure of activity, ie How much time, money and effort is expended. This online course is about eliminating busy, non-productive days, and replacing them with productive, non-busy days.
People attending this live, interactive course will learn why many people are busy but never get anywhere, and why a smaller number achieve much more, without seeming to work any harder.
On this course you will study how to improve productivity on three levels: individual habits, group habits and organisational systems.
We will show you the importance of goal focus, goal setting, prioritisation by value, prioritisation by deadline pressure, prioritisation by logical sequence, and how to eliminate procrastination.
We will discuss common errors involving self, others and systems and how to take control.
We cover time management, effective delegation, SMART questions, decision making, problem solving, handling interruptions, low value emails, the 80-20 rule (Pareto principle) and its application.
We discuss how emotions affect productivity and the importance of conversation control, how to maintain energy and mental focus, how to overcome setbacks and problems and the importance of continuous improvement. You will learn how to motivate yourself and others.
Finally, you will form your action plan on how to integrate what you have learned on this course, into your work setting.
If you want that too, please Course Dates.
