What is Leading and Managing Remote Teams Training?
Remote Team Leaders must continue to achieve goals, communicate, motivate, delegate and inspire staff, but with the added complication of being physically and socially separated.
Key differences between normal and remote leadership | |
---|---|
Leading Teams Normally | Leading Teams Remotely |
Company culture always present | Company culture NOT present |
Misunderstandings less likely | Misunderstandings more likely |
Work / life balance delineated | Work / life balance blurred |
Easier to observe performance | Difficult to observe performance |
More rapport and social binding | Less rapport and bonding |
Easier to motivate | More difficult to motivate |
Remote Leaders need this additional training to give them the skills necessary to overcome these difficulties.
